Gen buzzed the door at 8pm, and hoped that she wasn't calling too late.
She'd tried to fingercomb her hair in the coffee shop bathroom and changed
out of her work shirt into a slightly more attractive blue blouse, but to
her own eyes she still looked very unprofessional and scruffy.
