"I'm Genevieve." She doesn't mention she'd seen Mary's resume. That might be construed as creepy and she could not mess this up. Waylon was a good friend and the Rogues were nice, yes, but aside from her side hobby she didn't have anyone to talk to. And Mary seemed quite nice. (And pretty. She was awfully pretty.)
